Fortune: Passion Fruit Market will reopen in late October in Jack’s Fruit Market in the heart of downtown St. Louis, Mo.
The business will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Passion Fruit has been a staple in St. Charles, Mo., for decades, serving more than 5,000 customers daily, said Paul Tisdale, a franchisee and owner of Passion Fruit.
Passion fruit is grown on a farm in St Louis County and is sold at retail and online, Tisdales said.
Passion has been available at the Passion Fruit market for several years, but Tisdaled said he was hoping to open the new store in St Charles and reopen the business there in October.
Passion is sold in grocery stores and convenience stores nationwide, and Passion Fruit is the most popular fruit in the country, Tiddale said.
St. Cloud resident Karen Smith, a member of the St.
Charles Farmers Market Association, said she was pleased that the Passion Market will open in St, Louis.
“It’s a wonderful addition,” Smith said.
The Passion Market has been serving customers since 1999.
Tiddales said the Passion fruit will continue to be sold at the new location.
“We are very pleased with the decision,” he said.
